| Bio: | The Character: 1.Character Name: Tom Marvolo Riddle 2.Age/Birthdate: December, 31, 1929. He came back at around 16 3.Wand: 13 1/2, yew, phoenix tail feather. 4.Bloodline: Half-blood. Personality:Tom Riddle can be said to be many things. However, there are two main sides to his personality. The more human side to Tom is manipulative and intelligent. The manipulation started when Tom had first started at Hogwarts. Though he had dreams and plans of what he wanted the world to be, he could also get people to like him easily by keeping it all hidden. Being a model student was also a way for him to be liked, which is something that Tom Riddle desires over everything else. He wants people to care and want to be around him, no matter what he may or may not feel towards the other person. The desire to be loved is the driving force behind the theory of power. Even as a child, having a magic meant power, which in Tom's mind would be an easier way for people to actually care for him. The power he wanted wasn't really for the power itself, it was the admiration that came with it. Lord Voldemort, on the other hand, is the sort of man who wants to be powerful and that's it. He enjoys murder and torture above all else. He isn't above doing anything to get what he wants done. He wants things a certain way and that will be how they are. He's more secretative and hidden and doesn't feel the desire to show any sort of weakness or emotion. He's usually there when Tom Riddle is feeling the most. It also happens when Tom gets extremely angry or annoyed at something. If anything's bothering him Voldemort usually likes to take control to fix it as best he can. Which usually means long hours of torture and huge mess. Voldemort is also more of the one who will likely send others to do his bidding as long as it's nothing major. When it comes down to really dirty work, or things that require more extensive means, Voldemort doesn't think to turn to anyone other than himself. For both parts of him, though, Tom has issues with trust. Since his mother died when he was young and he was raised in an orphanage, he just is always afraid of people leaving him so trust is earned very rarely with the man. He also has issues with people turning his back on him. Once they do so, he will very rarely take them back into his ranks. Traitors are likely the main thing that will cause Tom to change into Voldemort. In his mind, traitors are the worst sorts of people, and that's even compared to muggles.
